European Union Solidarity Fund (EUSF) Created in 2002 following devastating floods in Central Europe, the Solidarity Fund allows member states and accession countries to apply for natural disaster relief.

Regional Policy “Success Stories” In and age when many EU Citizens are asking “What's the EU done for me?” DG Regio features a database of over five-hundred stories of Regional Policy projects from all over the EU. Visitors can even add information about a completed project in their own region using a form on the website.

Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) Organisation of national associations of towns, municipalities and regions from over 35 countries. CEMR promotes a united Europe based on local and regional self government. Their projects pertain to transport, the environment, equal opportunity and local governance.
